An IED blast shook Khamti village in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh today. News reports say that the IED was blasted after when an army convoy passed through the area.

Following the blast, no injuries or casualties have been reported so far. According to news reports,  a vehicle was damaged in the blast. The vehicle was reportedly coming behind the convoy.

Search operations have been initiated to nab the militants operating in the state. However, till now, there is no report of any militant group claiming the involvement with the blast that rocked Khamti village.
