Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal set an example in the state by successfully providing a green corridor to a baby boy battling a complicated disease. Such green corridor is provided for the first time in the Guwahati city.
The green corridor was provided to Snigdaraag Bhuyan, a baby boy who has been suffering from a complicated heart problem. The green corridor was set up in the city almost 36 kilometers stretch from the Pratiksha Hospital to Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport from where the baby boy was airlifted to New Delhi for advanced treatment. The baby boy was taken to the airport in an ambulance in just 28 minutes, covering a distance of 36km.
The ailing baby boy who hails from Biswanath Chariali was accompanied by his parents in the air ambulance. He was taken to Sir Gangaram Hospital in Delhi for better treatment.
