Dipen Talukdar, A youth from Nalbari who lost his left leg in an accident, created an artificial leg for himself.There was a time when Dipen used to be a healthy young person and worked at a coal mining industry in Ledo, Tinsukia to feed his family.But at the age of 22, he had to lose his left leg in an accident.

Poverty and tragedy prevailed over his life.He also had dreams to achieve just like the common people, but he was helpless.Understanding the true meaning of life and the motivations which he kept agile in his heart helped him in going forward with the circumstances of life.Dipen created an artificial leg for himself, which is made of wood.And now, he can ride a bicycle, scooter even by using the left leg.He kept on working and gradually became a carpenter and proved himself to be a self-employed person.

Dipen Talukdar is now 38 years old and has been working hard as a carpenter to feed his family of three members including his wife and a three years old daughter.This inspiring person needs our help and support.He looks forward to organisations and government to help him.
